FIRESCAPE systems are fire-resistant coverings. These barriers and shields are designed to withstand the extreme conditions wildfires present to provide protection to property, and critical infrastructure. They isolate fuels from flame, offer high insulating value and can provide reflective and emissive qualities. They can be used for both temporary and permanent installations as well for repeated use as they are fast and easy to deploy and secured with pre-installed attachment points. The encapsulating systems effectively protect infrastructure from close proximity fire, falling embers, smoke and ash.

A Tried and Tested System

FIRESCAPE systems are tested and proven to be viable and very effective even in the most extreme scenarios and in direct contact with wildfire.

Fabrics designed to be in contact with molten metal and continuous showers of sparks combined with aluminum foil facing reflects heat away. Materials have been tested to mature industry standards, such as ANSI/FM 4950 for select products, related to spark ignition, flame contact, and excessive heat. Upon installation our systems provide a protective air space for insulation.

Preemptive Fire Protection

At FIRESCAPE, we propose taking a proactive approach to dealing with fire damage. Our systems consist of specialized fire-resistant textiles to completely cover items, large or small.

Our FPS shields and coverings are secured wildfire barriers to isolate fuel sources and preventing ignition from wildfire. FIRESCAPE shields provide insulation for burn damage as well as protection from radiant heat, ash and smoke. They are especially useful for homes and infrastructure at risk of wildfire in a community’s wildland-urban interface (WUI).
